Systems Engineer
As a Windows Digital Services Technical Lead, you will lead initiatives and build processes to advocate for modern software practices through a Dev Sec Ops Methodology. You will have the technical skills to drive innovation and collaboration between diverse teams of Software Developers, AWS Site Reliability Engineers, Automation Engineers, Testing Engineers, and Security experts. This role is a key technical leader to drive maturity of current software development and continuous delivery of highly visible applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and maintain Windows servers, operating systems, and enterprise class Windows environments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for Windows based services.
- Apply patches, updates, and security configurations in accordance with organizational policies.
- Manage and administer Windows Public Key Infrastructure, including issuing and renewing certificates.
- Drive strategic change and digital adoption across multiple business units.
- Monitor and manage communications during high impact events via relevant channels.
- Participate in Agile sprints to evolve business processes, technologies, and drive optional improvements.
- Identify inefficiencies in team process and create plans to address them.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- 12+ years of experience administering Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services.
- 12+ years of experience building/operating on AWS, networking, IT Security tools, databases and tools.
- Hands-on technical expertise in Dev Sec Ops , security, automation, application development, databases, implementation, integration, and release management.
- Real world experience with establishing and maturing application development and CICD towards progressive delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based containerized applications (AWS EKS) including spring boot-based container services.
- Experience with PaaS (Platform as a Service) environments.
Technical
Skills:
- Experience with scripting (Power Shell preferred) and automation such as Power Shell, Python, BASH, and Java.
- Ability to work with Terraform for infrastructure as code solutions.
- Experience in using tools in an AWS Cloud environment (Cloud Watch, Open Search) and security tools such as Aqua, DLP, etc.
- Experience with Gitlab CICD including enabling environments, feature flags, and DORA Metrics aggregation.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog.
- Knowledge of network administration and management principles.
- Familiarity with remote access software including SFTP, RDP protocols.
Certifications:
- AWS Solutions Architect – Professional
- AWS Certified Security - Specialty Certification
