Sr. Network Security Engineer

Optomi, in partnership with a leading global hospitality company, is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their Security Operations team.

The Senior Network Engineer will be a technical leader in designing and implementing network security strategies and firewall management platforms for Marriott International's networks. This role requires a hands‑on engineer with expertise in firewall technologies, cloud deployments, and project leadership. The successful candidate will lead the Sec Ops Tools Firewall Management Center of Excellence, ensuring compliance with security requirements and driving adoption of NRE practices globally.

• Opportunity to lead technology rollouts and implementations
• Working with a matrix team of expert network architects and engineers
• Ability to convert from contractor/FLEX to full-time based on performance

• Extensive firewall implementation expertise, including Tufin and Palo Alto technologies
• Strong Network Access Control experience with For Scout, Cisco ISE, or Aruba Clear Pass
• Experience with cloud architecture and deployments
• Proficiency in automation tools like Python, Terraform, and Ansible

• Design and deploy network security solutions across Marriott's global network
• Lead projects from design through completion and transition to operations
• Act as the Level 3 escalation point for the operations team
• Provide technical leadership and direction during complex initiatives
• Collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups to drive consensus and guide teams through technical ambiguity
