About
The Role
The Operations Manager keeps technical teams running smoothly by owning internal tooling, cross-functional execution workflows, and operational metrics.
This position partners closely with engineering and product leadership to remove operational friction, streamline release processes, and scale infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and optimize core technical operations, incident management workflows, and internal tooling standard operating procedures
- Drive complex cross-functional engineering projects using Jira, Confluence, and Asana to track deliverables and milestones
- Analyze operational data using SQL and Looker to identify engineering bottlenecks and resource utilization gaps
- Manage vendor relationships and software licenses for internal developer tooling and cloud infrastructure
- Partner with finance and engineering leads to track cloud spend, hardware inventory, and operational budgets
- Facilitate post-mortem reviews and operational syncs to ensure continuous process improvement
- 4-7 years of operations management or technical project management experience within a software or technology company
- Proficient with SQL, BI dashboards (Looker, Tableau), and agile project management tooling (Jira, Git Hub)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- Demonstrated track record of scaling internal processes and managing technical vendor contracts
- Bonus:
Experience with SOC2 compliance frameworks, AWS infrastructure cost optimization, or Python scripting
