IT Asset Manager Lead
We are seeking an IT Asset Manager Lead to join our defense team! Required qualifications include experience in IT asset management, configuration management, GFP/GFE, or software license management. Knowledge of CMDB, ITAM tools, automated discovery, GFP/GFE processes, and government property accountability is required. Ability to support audit readiness, reconciliation, reporting, and lifecycle planning is also required.
Certifications include 8140 Aligned IT Operations, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), International Association of Information Technology Asses Managers (IAITAM), Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP), and Security +CompTIA Security + (Sec+).
Clearance required:
Secret.
Responsibilities include managing ITAM/GFP processes, maintaining asset and configuration baselines, supporting PIEE asset transactions, coordinating automated discovery, reconciling hardware, software, licenses, and endpoint records, supporting BMC Helix/software catalog integration, preparing monthly asset and license reports, managing audit support and corrective actions, and coordinating with service desk, cloud, cyber, and applications teams.
Work environment includes an office on-site in Arlington, VA with a low noise level and a day shift schedule Monday - Friday. May work evenings and weekends on occasion. Amount of travel is less than 10%.
Target salary range: $140,000 - $185,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined based on several factors, including the individual's combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The listed salary represents one component of the total compensation package for employees.
U.S. Citizen required. Secret - IT-II (Tier
3) clearance required.
