ALS e-Discovery Team Lead / Lab Manager

CACI is currently seeking an ALS e-Discovery Team Lead/Lab Manager to lead and manage an ALS e-discovery lab for the Tax division. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all case support, liaising with Government personnel and legal teams. The selected ALS e-Discovery Team Lead / Lab Manager will:
Plan and execute case management strategies, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of support services. Maintain strict security protocols for all project materials in accordance with Department guidelines. Collaborate with various Contractor components to ensure seamless project support.

• Serves as the lead manager responsible for delivery of lab data processing services. Primarily ensures timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Performs analysis, development and implementation of processing approaches for electronic files and related services pursuant to applicable ESI specifications.
• Consults with attorneys and support staff on best practices for conforming to ESI specifications and, as required, participates in teleconferences with co-counsel, client agencies, and opposing counsel upon attorney request.
• Responsible for ensuring that incoming productions are made pursuant to the applicable ESI specifications and when deficiencies are found, provides case attorney with detailed notice of deficiencies.
• Responsible for keeping the COR informed on activities in the Lab, e.g. deadlines, technical challenges, and availability of resources to complete work.
• Responsible for web-hosting support for unsupported cases managed by the lab.
• Manages a team of eDiscovery professionals situated in a client-site eDiscovery laboratory, including: scheduling, requirements assessments, assigning work and ensuring deadlines are met, creating progress reports, and Quality Control (QC) of deliverables.
• Advises Department of Justice attorneys, paralegals, and case managers on all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM); especially:
  Data Collection, Processing, Hosting, Review, Analytics, and Production

• BS/BA degree in computer science or a related degree (or equivalent experience will be considered)
• 7 + years of experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis and review
• 5+ years of experience at the management/supervisory level
• Requires thorough knowledge of the litigation discovery process, and the EDRM workflow
• Working knowledge and certifications of document review software such as iConect, Relativity, Venio or similar tools
• Experience with litigation support tools such as LAW, IPRO, Concordance, MS Office Suite, and Live Note highly valued

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
