UT Government is looking for a Night and Weekend shift Installation Technician in DC.
We are currently seeking a Technical Specialist II to provide advanced technical support and expertise in maintaining the functionality and integrity of our client services and systems. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen sense of urgency, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution for complex technical issues related to physical and IP security systems.
- Conduct system performance analyses to improve operational efficiencies and implement enhancements.
- Work closely with project management teams to ensure high-quality installations and adherence to project specifications.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Serve as a technical advisor to clients, providing training and support as necessary.
- Assist in maintaining asset inventories and service records for all technical equipment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical support role within the security industry.
- Strong understanding of various enterprise access control and surveillance systems, including software and hardware integration.
- Experience with design and protocols, specifically regarding security applications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver projects on time while ensuring quality of work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance.
- Night shift Hours and rotating schedules including weekends 11pm-7am Monday through Sunday.
$55,000 - $64,000 USD
