Position:
Economic Systems Support Specialist (Excel SME)
Location:
Washington, DC (metro accessible)
Duration:
Long Term Contract
Hybrid:
Requires 3-days/week Onsite
* MUST have Masters Degree*
$25-28/hour
- Troubleshoots and resolves software issues pertaining to standard economic applications and packages, including providing hot-line support
- Creates Excel macros for individual users and/or for company-wide use
- Tests new releases of standard applications and software packages prior to deployment
- Writes user-oriented tutorials on software, hardware, and applications
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Comprehensive knowledge of the use of personal computer operating systems and utilities in an enterprise network environment
- Familiarity with macroeconomic data concepts and terminology is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Must have initiative and ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Collaborating with our colleagues and users
