Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management Specialist
In this role, you will take ownership of designing and configuring the Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management module to meet the unique needs of federal government clients. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing client requirements, identifying any gaps between current system capabilities and business objectives, and translating these findings into actionable solutions. Your day-to-day activities will include conducting Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), developing detailed test conditions and scenarios, and configuring the Oracle Core HCM module to ensure it aligns with client expectations.
You will also execute unit testing to validate your configurations and serve as the primary point contact between the client and the development team, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and evaluate client requirements identify gaps between existing system capabilities and client needs Conduct Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) to demonstrate system functionality and gather feedback
- Assess requirements for fit-gap analysis
- Develop comprehensive test conditions and scenarios to ensure system functionality aligns with client expectations
- Create functional design documents to guide the development team Assist with mapping legacy fields to Oracle HCM Cloud for conversion.
- Design and configure the Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management module to meet specific requirements
- Execute unit testing to validate system configuration
- Serve as a liaison between the client and development team, ensuring clear and effective communication
- Provide support and insights during the development phase to ensure accurate implementation Triage test defects and provide timely resolutions
Support training activities for end users and stakeholders
Here's what you need:
- Exposure to Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management, particularly in federal government environments
- Familiarity with reviewing requirements, designing solutions, and drafting functional design documents for RICEFW (Reports, Integrations, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, and Workflows)
- Hands-on experience with system configuration, test execution, and defect triage will further support your success.
- Willingness to upskill and pursue certification in Oracle HCM Cloud modules

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
$100,200 - $203,400 USD
