Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an onsite Vice President, Business Development & Campaign Lead to drive the growth campaign for Astrion's Critical Infrastructure mission area. This senior growth leader will build and execute a multi-year business development strategy across Transportation Infrastructure, Energy Infrastructure, and DIB Infrastructure while helping transition Astrion from SETA-heavy services toward repeatable, technology-enabled Mission Solutions.
The Campaign Lead will shape and mature qualified pipeline, build strategic customer and partner relationships, improve win rates, and position Astrion as the trusted Mission Assurance partner for the systems that matter most. This role will protect and expand existing FAA and NRC positions while opening new growth lanes in DHS/TSA/CISA/CBP, DOT/FAA, DOE/NNSA, national labs, DoD infrastructure, DIB Infrastructure, commercial nuclear, SMRs, utilities, hyperscalers, airports, ports, rail, and international markets.
The successful candidate will partner with Operations, Solutions, Growth, Finance, Contracts, and M&A leaders to package offerings such as Mission Evidence Packs, Digital Twins, OT/ICS Assessments, Exercise & Readiness packages, resilience dashboards, and Astrion Core-enabled solution modules.
Required Qualifications / Skills- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technology, national security, public policy, or a related field; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 15+ years of business development, capture, or growth leadership experience in federal transportation, energy, homeland security, or regulated-commercial infrastructure markets.
- Demonstrated success building and managing large, multi-year qualified pipelines and winning competitive pursuits.
- Experience developing new-account growth strategies, not only incumbent protection or recompete strategies.
- Familiarity with one or more priority customer areas: FAA/DOT, DHS/TSA/CISA/CBP, DOE/NNSA, NRC, national labs, DoD infrastructure, NAVFAC, USACE, DIB Infrastructure, commercial nuclear, utilities, ports, airports, or rail/transit.
- Demonstrated ability to position differentiated Mission Solutions and technology-enabled offerings, not only labor-based professional services.
- Experience with partner-led growth, teaming strategies, channel development, or technology-enabled solution selling.
- Understanding of systems engineering, operational test and evaluation, cyber-physical resilience, digital engineering, OT/ICS, digital twins, mission assurance, or infrastructure modernization.
- Strong executive presence, customer intimacy, competitive insight, and ability to work effectively across operations, solutions, growth, finance, contracts, and corporate leadership.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- Experience in critical infrastructure protection, resilience, mission assurance, energy resilience, transportation modernization, or defense-critical infrastructure.
- Experience with commercial or regulated infrastructure owners/operators, including utilities, commercial nuclear, SMRs, hyperscalers, ports, airports, rail/transit, or industrial facilities.
- Experience with DOE/NNSA Management & Operating contractors, national laboratories, or complex federal infrastructure procurement pathways.
- Experience building or selling repeatable offerings, platform-enabled services, product-attached services, or mission-solution portfolios.
- Familiarity with Astrion Core-type frameworks, digital twin platforms, OT/ICS cyber vendors, cloud/AI partners, control-system OEMs, infrastructure engineering partners, or small-business channel partners.
- Existing relationships across FAA/DOT, DHS/TSA/CISA/CBP, DOE/NNSA, NRC, DoD infrastructure, DIB Infrastructure, commercial energy, airports, ports, rail, utilities, or…
