Infrastructure Project Manager

Location:

100% Remote

Duration: 5 months with potential to extend

Overall Scope:
The project manager will be responsible for planning, managing, monitoring, and controlling two projects: (1) Service Now CSDM:
Implement the Common Services Data Model (CSDM) on the Service Now platform to enable the full capability of the Service Now platform in relation to the Configuration Management Data Database (CMDB) framework. CSDM identifies where and how to place service and application related data within the CMDB. It helps shape the platforms information in a clear and concise format for positive growth and audit compliance.

This will also allow for transparent service costing and more accurate reporting. (2) Next Gen App Inventory:
Implement software designed to support enterprise architects and other business and IT stakeholders with strategically driven planning, analysis, design and execution. These tools support strategic and tactical decision making by capturing and connecting context and information across business, information, solution and technology domains, along with other relevant architectural viewpoints.

Responsibilities:
Projects are managed and delivered using Azure Dev Ops (ADO). Deliverables include:
1) Creating and maintaining project plans in ADO
2) Identifying, reporting, and escalating risks and issues using ADO
3) Define, groom, and prioritize epics, features, and user stories
4) Facilitate Product Backlog Grooming Meetings
5) Facilitate Release Planning Workshops
6) Produce Release Plan
7) Facilitate Sprint Review and Retrospective Meeting
8) Implement sprint process improvements
9) Manage and monitor project costs against budget

Must Have

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business field.
  • Successful Agile project/program management experience; at least 3 in the professional services sector with an emphasis on technology and culture initiatives.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and drive solution-centric efforts across a geographically distributed Agile teams of business and technology professionals.
  • Strong background/experience with the utilization of digital, cloud-based emerging technologies and data analytics to drive innovation and client service.
  • Strong and demonstrated skills in conflict resolution, collaboration, negotiation, influencing, and leadership.
  • A practitioner of project management with multiple years of experience and practical application of various Agile project management methodologies, tools, and tactics.
  • Highly action-oriented, with a leadership style characterized by strong influencing skills; someone who is a change agent who can build collaborative relationships.
  • A practical project and change practitioner who delivers services with a pragmatic approach to solving business challenges.
  • Committed to personal and team excellence and someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
