Project Manager

As a skilled Project Manager within the Information Security department's PMO, overseeing technology projects within the Cyber Security Department. This role involves applying best practices, methodologies, and tools to ensure on-budget, on-schedule project delivery, encompassing comprehensive hardware and software implementation. You'll manage complex programs spanning multiple departments and external vendors, leveraging formal project management processes to monitor, control, and report project progress to senior management.

This hybrid position requires 2-3 days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Direction: Direct technical leads, project team members, and consultants/contractors, ensuring cohesive efforts and optimal project outcomes.
  • Document Management: Develop and maintain essential project documents including Project Charter, Management Plan, Requirements, Design, Test Plans, Implementation, and Post-Implementation reports.
  • Program Reporting: Produce weekly program status reports, conduct project status meetings as required, and manage project schedules using MS Enterprise Project Management and MS Project Professional 2010.
  • Budget and Schedule Management: Monitor and report schedule and budget variances, create and maintain SharePoint project sites, ensure quality project schedules, baselines, and risk assessments.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, following established processes and templates.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication through weekly status reports, issue resolutions, and participation in operational readiness reviews.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Develop Statements of Work (SOW), evaluate vendor responses, and collaborate with SAFe teams on capability delivery and PLM artifact maintenance.
  • Deliverables: Ensure on-time, on-budget program and project delivery, presenting projects at Quality Checkpoints and Department Level Project Reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7-10 years of hands-on Program and Project management experience within formal methodologies.
  • Strong technology management, analysis, and administration experience, preferably in Information Security.
  • Proficiency in MS Project Office Professional, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and project management tools like MS Project Server (EPM), Ariba on Demand, etc.
  • Certifications:

    PMP, CSM, SAFe 5.5/6 related. Preferred experience in Information Security-related project management and security certifications like Security+, SSCP, or CISSP.
