Responsibilities
- Understand customer goals and challenges and map those back to the Salesforce product portfolio
- Design, build, and demonstrate innovative solutions to address these challenges
- Present Salesforce technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with hardware, software, networking and security stack
- Participate in all appropriate product, sales, technical training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
- Attain quarterly and annual objectives defined collaboratively with management
- Respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs
- Active participation in a fast‑paced high‑energy market segment and balance multiple projects in a team‑selling environment
- 5+ years experience as a solution/sales engineer for a CRM company or similar technology
- Knowledge of related applications, relational database, web technology, and cyber‑security
- Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a cross‑functional team to solve technical problems
- B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS
- Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technology
- Solid oral, written, presentation, collaboration and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied political environments
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience
- US Citizenship
- Salesforce Certifications
- Previous experience as a solution/sales engineer
- US and/or Canada Public Sector, Federal Civilian industry experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce technology
- Familiarity with Government Cloud Compliance standards and certifications
- Salesforce Ecosystem:
Current Salesforce AI Specialist Certification (or equivalent) Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Service Cloud, and Salesforce App Builder certifications are highly desirable. - Work Location:

In the United States, compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, job level, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $113,330 - $151,550 annually. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. In California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range for this role in those locations is $124,670 - $166,810 per year.
