Quality Assurance Analyst w​/ Active Top Secret or DHS Clearance

InDev is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with technical writing responsibilities that bridges the gap between software development and end-users. This hybrid role ensures product functionality and usability, while clearly documenting technical specifications, standard operating procedures, and user-facing manuals.

• Test Case Development: Design, plan, and execute robust testing scripts (manual and automated) to verify system functionality.
• Defect Management: Identify, log, track, and re-test bugs within issue-tracking systems.
• Regression Testing: Ensure new feature releases do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
• Quality Metrics: Monitor system health and generate defect density and test coverage reports.
• Documentation Maintenance: Author and update release notes, user manuals, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
• Process Mapping: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), testing processes, and system design documents.
• Requirement Analysis: Review product requirements to ensure they are testable and properly documented before development begins.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of QA, testing, documentation, or technical writing experience.
• Experience supporting Agile software development programs.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong writing, editing, analytical, and communication skills.

• STQB, CSTE, CPTC, or related certifications.
• Experience supporting DHS or other federal civilian agencies.
• Mobile application testing experience.

Clearance: U.S. Citizen;
Active DHS Clearance, DoD Top Secret Clearance, or Q-level Clearance.
