The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full-time Program Manager (Cyber/IT Integration), GG-0343-13 located Policy and Guidance Division (HQ USAF/A6XP), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Arlington, VA.

Salary Rate: $121,000 – 138,000

Relocation expenses may be paid based on eligibility.

This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.

Depending on the type of position you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.

Shape the alignment of Air Force Warfighter Communications and Cyber Systems! We seek a Cyber/IT Integration Program Manager to serve as a key strategy, policy, and guidance coordinator on the Air Staff. In this role, you will synchronize high-level strategic plans across the Department of War (DoW) while providing the critical policy and guidance inputs that drives mission execution. Your focus will be on shaping governance frameworks, coordinating diverse strategy efforts, and ensuring our policies robustly support the joint warfighter.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • This position is designated by the Air Force as a testing designated position under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program and is subject to random drug testing
  • Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of Air Force Warfighter Communications and Cyber Systems strategy and other programs in support of developing Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), and policy, procedures, and schedules for developing PPBE inputs, including Program Objectives Memoranda (POM), Budget Estimate Submissions (BES), and Financial Planning and executions in support of major war, mobilization, and other contingency and operational plans as well as methods for developing budget forecasts, cost projections, financial exhibits, unfunded requirements justifications, POM narratives, offsets and disconnects, reclamas, issue papers, and budget documents.
  • Knowledge of the relationship of the various military entities involved in overall planning and execution of military operations and evaluations and the methods in which the PPBE process supports them.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of command level plans and programs for conducting major operations such as Space Situational Awareness & Command and Control;
    Space Protection;
    Space Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance;
    Missile Warning/Defense; MILSATCOM;
    Space Position, Navigation & Timing;
    Space Testing, Training, Tactics & Exercises;
    Space Launch, Ranges & AF Satellite Control Network Operations;
    Cyber Integration;
    Global Information Grid Operations & Defense;
    Cyber Counter-Threat;
    Cyber Warfare rescue, and associated mission and flight operations, tactical space lift, deployment, mobilization, exercise, flying training systems both manned and unmanned, rescue, foreign military sales, PPBE, Program Element Monitoring (PEM), acquisition, special operations, or similar operations.
