Job Title
Duties
Provides technical guidance on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) accessibility, supports enterprise planning, leads testing and remediation workflows, and delivers training on Section 508 and ergonomics requirements.
Manages the ergonomics program by coordinating assessments, identifying risks, evaluating workstations, providing evidence-based recommendations, and tracking follow-ups, ensuring documentation aligns with IGSD's governance role.
Conducts and coordinates Section 508 accessibility assessments and ergonomic evaluations, tracking remediation with system owners, supervisors, and reasonable accommodation points of contact.
Provides Tier-3 troubleshooting and support for accessibility and assistive technology, and Tier-2/3 expertise in configuring ergonomic equipment, adjusting workstations, and resolving complex, user-specific ergonomic needs.
Conducts research on emerging accessibility tools, standards, and best practices; recommends solutions to enhance accessibility posture.
Performs Contracting Officer's Representative duties at the COR-I level or higher, supporting information technology accessibility services, assistive technology acquisitions, and broader information technology service contracts.
