Compensation: $180-220K
Position DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Service Now Architect with deep Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) expertise to lead the design and implementation of large-scale regulatory compliance solutions on the Service Now platform. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in translating complex compliance requirements into scalable, automated workflows that strengthen organizational risk posture.
As a key technical leader, you will drive architectural decisions, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of Service Now GRC capabilities—including Risk Management, Policy and Compliance, and Audit Management modules. You will also guide clients on best practices, regulatory frameworks, process optimization, and long-term platform strategy.
This position offers the opportunity to architect enterprise-grade GRC solutions, modernize compliance operations, and influence digital transformation across multiple industries.
Required Skills/Education- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years with Service Now and 2+ years specifically in Service Now GRC
- 3+ years of hands‑on regulatory compliance experience
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Service Now GRC Implementation Specialist certifications
- Demonstrated experience architecting and advising on GRC solutions using Service Now and related compliance platforms
- Experience configuring and extending Risk, Policy & Compliance, and Audit modules
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as NIST, SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and NERC
- Experience analyzing risk, mapping controls, and designing automated workflows for compliance monitoring
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Experience addressing regulatory and technical challenges involving complex Service Now integrations
- Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-series, SOC reporting)
- Background supporting utilities, energy, or critical infrastructure environments
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CIA, or similar
- Experience in state, local, or federal public sector consulting
- Familiarity with NERC CIP standards and compliance reporting requirements
- Strong communication and client advisory skills with experience guiding enterprise compliance programs
- Architect, design, and optimize Service Now GRC solutions across Risk, Policy & Compliance, and Audit modules
- Translate complex regulatory and control requirements into scalable Service Now workflows and automation
- Configure platform components, integrations, dashboards, and reporting features to support compliance operations
- Lead client discussions to define business needs, regulatory obligations, and control frameworks
- Provide expert guidance on Service Now GRC best practices, use cases, and long‑term platform strategy
- Collaborate with legal, risk, IT, and audit teams to align organizational compliance processes
- Build compliance monitoring capabilities, continuous controls testing, and automated reporting
- Support roadmap development, adoption strategies, and cross‑functional architecture planning
