Location: Washington, DC (onsite 5x/week)

Duration: 6-month contract to hire (This is a 5 year program)

Salary Range: $115-145k depending on level of experience

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of related experience
• Active Security+ Certification
• Strong foundation in system and security administration, including experience with both Linux and Windows environments
• Demonstrable experience in scripting and automation with languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell
• Knowledge of cloud services, architecture, and hands-on experience with Azure.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, operate, and maintain resilient secure Azure Cloud environments to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible.
• Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles.
• Provision and manage Azure virtual servers, ensuring they meet the required specifications for various user groups and applications.
• Schedule and deploy updates to virtual desktops, applications, and infrastructure components while minimizing downtime and disruption to users.
• Respond to and resolve user tickets in a timely manner, providing technical support for the VDI environment, including connectivity, performance, and usability issues.
• Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively with end-users, understanding their needs, and ensuring a positive user experience.
