- Support technical operations in development and production systems
- Deliver infrastructure engineering projects supporting company initiatives
- Collaborate with research and development teams to deliver software quickly and reliably
- Secure platform infrastructure and harden on-premise builds
- Work with engineering teams to set, measure, and achieve SLIs and SLOs for SLAs
- Execute the roadmap in sprints and follow SCRUM best practices
- Introduce and implement technologies and best practices in Info Sec, Dev Ops, and Site Reliability
- Support self-managed customers on-site
- Build highly reliable software systems across bare-metal Linux deployments and commercial GCP and AWS deployments
- Continuously improve multi-region configuration and help expand into new regions
- Support new and ongoing products
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, maintained throughout employment
- Satisfy other security-related requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator, Dev Ops Engineer, or similar
- Solid understanding of Docker
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of at least one scripting language, such as Python or Bash
- High proficiency with at least one configuration management/infrastructure as code tool, preferably Terraform
- Experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, shared VPC, and data analytics, or equivalent services from other vendors
- Expertise in monitoring and alerting and maintaining high production availability
- Experience with CI/CD tools and concepts, such as Git Hub Actions
- U.S. citizenship is a precondition of employment
Demonstrates expertise in Linux System Administration, Dev Ops practices, and infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on security clearance and compliance. Proficient in implementing and managing cloud services, configuration management, and CI/CD processes to ensure high availability and reliability of software systems.
