Sr. Systems Engineer/ Linux Administration District of Columbia
Position Requirements Linux Administration- Required:
Experience with design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems. - Required:
Experience with Ansible for configuration management, application deployment, and infrastructure orchestration. Including writing and distribution Ansible content through galaxy. - Required:
Experience with Terraform for provisioning infrastructure and server automation. - Required:
Experience administering and supporting Ansible Automation Platform (or AWX) for enterprise-wide use. - Highly Desired:
Experience building and maintaining an Infrastructure-as-Code pipeline for server lifecycle management in bare-metal, virtual, and cloud environments. - Ability to troubleshoot Linux system failures and restore systems to working condition.
- Experience with Centrify and Kerberos for server authentication.
- Experience with Splunk infrastructure administration (indexers, search-heads, forwarders)
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies like Simple Storage Service (S3), and EC2.
- Highly Desired:
Ability to work as a member of a team working on a variety of diverse projects - Creative problem solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task as workload demands
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation to maintain existing operations
