The Senior Solutions Architect, Data & AI is a full-time, on-site role based in Washington, DC. This role is responsible for designing end-to-end data and AI solutions, including cloud-native architectures, data platforms, and ML pipelines that align with client business and security requirements. The Senior Solutions Architect will lead technical discovery sessions, translate complex needs into solution designs, and collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and security specialists to ensure cohesive implementation.

Day-to-day work includes evaluating existing architectures, defining integration patterns, producing high-quality technical documentation, and presenting solution options and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role also involves providing hands-on guidance during implementation, mentoring project teams, and contributing to internal best practices and accelerators across data, AI, and security domains.

• Demonstrated expertise in Solution Architecture, including designing secure, scalable data and AI platforms and cloud-native systems.
• Strong Consulting skills, with experience leading client workshops, gathering requirements, and communicating complex technical concepts clearly.
• Hands-on background in Software Development, preferably in languages and frameworks commonly used for data engineering, APIs, and ML workflows.
• Proven experience with Integration, including designing and implementing interfaces between data platforms, SaaS systems, and enterprise applications.
• Understanding of Business Process analysis and optimization, with the ability to align technical solutions to measurable business outcomes.
• Experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), data engineering tools, and AI/ML platforms; familiarity with MLOps and Dev Sec Ops  practices is highly beneficial.
• Strong security awareness in solution design, including identity and access management, data protection, and compliance considerations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., cloud architect, data engineering) are a plus.
