The Smithsonian Institution is the world's largest museum, education, and research complex, with 21 museums and the National Zoo. This position is located organizationally in Software, Platforms, Finance and Administration, Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Under Secretary for Finance and Administration, Smithsonian Institution (SI).
Experience:
You qualify for this position if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal Service. For this position, specialized experience is defined as developing and implementing enterprise software governance policies and lifecycle strategies; directing a portfolio of enterprise software platforms, including resource, licensing, vendor and risk decisions; supervising a technical workforce and managing performance and personnel matters;
and advising senior leadership and coordinating or negotiating solutions
In addition to meeting the Specialized Experience for all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the competencies listed below:
