Position Summary: The Business Intelligence & Performance Analyst builds and maintains The Trust's measurement and reporting infrastructure and helps leadership use data to improve decisions, operations, and outcomes for former NFL players.

The Analyst serves as the business owner for CRM reporting requirements, reporting-related workflows, and data quality standards. This position transforms data into actionable insights, develops reporting solutions, supports performance accountability efforts, and helps ensure that business systems and workflows produce reliable information for organizational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, reports, and performance measurement frameworks that support organizational decision-making.
  • Analyze utilization, participant, operational, partner, and outcome data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and actionable recommendations.
  • Collect, clean, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of organizational reporting.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), benchmarks, and reporting methodologies to evaluate program, operational, and partner performance.
  • Serve as the business owner for CRM reporting requirements, reporting-related workflows, and data quality standards.
  • Identify gaps in system usage, data-entry practices, business processes, workflows, or reporting environments that affect data quality or reporting reliability and recommend practical improvements.
  • Define business requirements and collaborate with internal and external technical resources to implement reporting, automation, workflow, and business system enhancements.
  • Create clear and effective data visualizations and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Partner with department leaders, staff, and benefit partners to understand analytical needs, support performance accountability efforts, and strengthen organizational decision-making.
  • Document reporting logic, data standards, data sources, and measurement methodologies to support consistency and organizational continuity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, Public Health, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • Three (3) or more years of progressively responsible experience using data, reporting, and analysis to evaluate performance, improve operations, assess programs, or support business decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience with data cleaning, validation, data integrity, and quality management.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, DAX, and other data visualization tools.
  • Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
  • Experience working with CRM-based business processes, reporting environments, and CRM data architecture.
  • Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Public Health, Economics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform, Power Query, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience with Python, R, or other analytical software.
  • Experience supporting healthcare, wellness, nonprofit, association, trust, or member-service organizations.
  • Experience evaluating program effectiveness, participant outcomes, utilization trends, or partner performance.
  • Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, Data Analytics, or related certifications.
