In this role,you will grow your existing sof tware develop ment skills to write code andcreate programs that scale to meet the demands of AI and Quantum Computing.

• Work closely with
  
  Booz Allen quantum research staffto understandcustomerneeds and provide direct sof tware develop ment support.
• Apply yourexpertisein sof tware engineeringor computer science for problem-solving, design, develop ment, and maintenance ofcutting-edge quantum systems.
• Identify new growth areas for our quantum and artifi cia l intelligence businesses and build MVPs that excite customers.
• Leverage principles of sof tware develop ment to build frameworks and programs that can take advantage of the latest and most appropriate computational resources for the customer's use case.

• Experience with research in computer science, quantum technology, physics, chemistry, or mathematics, including academic research
• Experience in data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving work
• Experience with quantum algorithms, quantum sof tware develop ment, or quantum computing applications
• Knowledge of Agile develop ment environments, tools, and met hodologies
• Knowledge of an object-oriented language, including Java, C++, C#, Rus tor Python
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’sdegree by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029

• Experience performing research in quantum mechanics and the quantum effects that enable quantum computing, quantum sensing, or quantum networking
• Knowledge of quantum computing hardware, control electronics, and environmental control requirements
• Possession of excellent collaboration skills across different technical backgrounds
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills , to communicate complex concepts

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
