Senior Database Developer

Must Reside In Washington Dc Proper-no Exceptionsduties & Responsibilities

• Create/modify stored procedures based on specifications document.
• Create/modify custom gap tables that support stored procedures.
• Meet with Business Analyst SMES to review specifications documents.
• This is a heavily coding position, so knowledge of Microsoft Trans-Act SQL is mandatory.

• 5+ years of experience as a T-SQL programmer.
• Good understanding of T-SQL programming.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Design and develop tables, views, stored procedures, indexes, functions, dictionaries, and complex ad-hoc queries for SQL Server databases.
• Experience with appropriate source control and change management methodologies.
• Previous knowledge of full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis, design, development, functional testing, pushes to production and operations/maintenance.
• Development of quality database solutions.
• Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
• Ability to analyze existing and new SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.

• Solid Background in Healthcare IT, Medicaid, PHI Data, HIPAA, EDI Transactions, Claims Billing
• Web Services and familiarity with AWS or AZURE Cloud
