IT Consultant
Koniag Data Services, LLC (KDS), a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Service Now Application Architect to support KDS and our government customer. This position is Remote.

The Service Now Application Architect Will Be Responsible For- Architect and Design Solutions:
Define and implement Service Now architecture standards, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy. Evaluate deployed applications to identify opportunities for improvement. - Platform Administration:
Support administration of the platform including authority-to-operate (ATO), instance patching, upgrades, environment clones and MID server management. - Recommend Solutions:
Using expert knowledge of platform capabilities, combined with observations of how the client is using the platform, recommend and document solutions for client consideration that align with product entitlements and business objectives. - Implement Solutions:
Perform hands-on development to deliver solutions spanning both out of the box and custom applications. - Grow the Service Now Practice:
Support business development opportunities with subject matter expertise in the form of solutioning or proposal writing and support fellow practitioners within the Service Now Community of Practice.
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree and five-plus years of experience in Service Now development or equivalent expertise.
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Security Operations (Sec Ops), custom application development, and Service Now’s Next UI work spaces.
- Experience with Service Now’s Now Assist and/or Agentic AI capabilities desired.
- Experience with Now Mobile and/or Mobile Agent desired.
- Experience with systems integration is expected.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certifications preferred.
- Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Must have experience demonstrating solutions or capabilities to senior leaders.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, matrixed team environment, with a client‑centric culture, and an environment of high performers.
- Must be able to multi‑task and shift priorities as needed.
- Must be able to work effectively with numerous stakeholder types and bring a group to consensus
