Systems Administrator

Job Summary

The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure in classified environments. The role manages Windows and Linux servers, virtualization and cloud platforms, Active Directory, system security, vulnerability remediation, backups, and technical support.

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
• Implement system hardening and DoD security controls.
• Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities and required patches.
• Manage virtual environments using VMware, Citrix, or AWS.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support.
• Administer Active Directory, user accounts, and file permissions.
• Manage system backups, SAN configurations, and data recovery.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and system security plans.
• Support reliable and secure operation of mission-critical IT infrastructure.

• Active, transferable U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance.
• IAT Level II certification such as Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or CySA+.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of enterprise systems administration experience in a classified environment.
