Undergrad Intern Digital Product Amgens Technology & Medical Organizations (Summer 2027) What You Will DoLets do this. Lets change the world. During this internship, you will acquire the valuable hands-on skills and foundational experience needed to become a professional in your chosen field.
In this role, you will help shape digital products that improve the experience of Amgen colleagues and ultimately support our mission to serve patients. You will work with product managers, designers, engineers, data teams, and business partners to understand user needs, translate insights into actionable product work, and support delivery in an Agile environment. Responsibilities may include:
- Support product discovery by researching user needs, documenting workflows, and synthesizing feedback from interviews, surveys, and product data
- Help translate business problems and user needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and product documentation
- Assist with backlog refinement, sprint planning, user acceptance testing, and release-readiness activities
- Analyze product usage, operational data, and customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and potential improvements
- Prepare concise presentations, status updates, and recommendations for product and cross-functional stakeholders
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver user-centered digital capabilities with quality, speed, and patient impact in mind
- Expected completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing
- Expected continued enrollment in an accredited college or university following the internship program
- Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship program
- Must be available to work a full-time schedule.
- Must be available to accept and commit to future full-time employment by July 2028, if offered

Basic Qualifications:Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergrad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:
- 18 years or older
- Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelors Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
- Degree concentration(s) in Information Technology, Computer Science (e.g., CS, CPE, SE), Engineering, Business, or related field
- Biotechnology, pharmaceutical or health care industry experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Strong interpersonal, project management, analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficient in one of the coding languages (Python, Java, Scala, SQL)
- Detail oriented
- Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and resourcefulness
- Ability to operate independently, across functional lines, and with both internal and external customers
- Coursework in one or more of the following areas:
- Business Systems analysis, Lean, Agile (SCRUM) and other SDLC processes, Software Development, Database Modeling, Web Design and Development, IT Management, Management of Cloud based application, B2B Collaboration, Enterprise systems such as configuration and management of ERP, CRM systems
