Job Summary:
The AV/VTC Mid-Level Technician is responsible for providing operational support and maintenance for audiovisual and video teleconferencing systems. This role focuses on ensuring smooth functionality of conference room technologies, collaboration platforms, and delivering excellent end-user support.
Responsibilities:- Support day-to-day AV/VTC operations and troubleshooting.
- Set up conference rooms and meeting technologies.
- Troubleshoot audiovisual issues promptly and effectively.
- Support video conferencing platforms such as Teams, Zoom, and Web Ex.
- Maintain accurate inventories of AV equipment.
- Assist with testing and routine maintenance of AV rooms.
- Provide training and assistance to customers on AV systems.
Certifications:
- Minimum 3 years of AV/VTC support experience.
- Experience with video conferencing platforms including Teams, Zoom, and Web Ex.
- Knowledge of audiovisual hardware and systems.
- Strong customer support and communication skills.
Certifications:
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification.
- May require on-site support in conference rooms and collaboration spaces.
- Ability to respond quickly to AV system issues during meetings or events.
- Standard business hours with potential for occasional after-hours support.
