Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a large-scale enterprise database environment.
The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on expertise in Oracle database administration, backup and recovery, clustering, high availability, disaster recovery, database troubleshooting, upgrades, patching, and performance support. Experience supporting additional relational database technologies is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, monitor, maintain, and support enterprise Oracle database environments.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle database software and related components.
- Manage Oracle Grid Infrastructure and clustered database environments.
- Perform database backup, recovery, and restoration using Oracle RMAN.
- Create, configure, and maintain standalone and clustered database environments.
- Monitor database availability, performance, capacity, and overall health.
- Troubleshoot database performance, connectivity, configuration, and production issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis, issue triage, and problem resolution.
- Design and support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
- Develop and maintain SQL and PL/SQL scripts for database administration and automation.
- Perform server maintenance, database upgrades, software installations, and patch management.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, engineering, and operations teams.
- Maintain database documentation, operational procedures, and technical standards.
- Extensive experience as an Oracle Database Administrator

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and management.
- Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
