Position OverviewN2IA is seeking a JIRA Administrator to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer, as well as assist the organization to improve visibility for enterprise operations through the improvement of Jira utilization. The primary objective of the program migrate and modernize a fragmented IT environment into a unified ecosystem that not only provides diverse services to internal and external user, but also to enable real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-tailored analytical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Configure and maintain JIRA workflows, projects, and issue tracking systems.
- Manage and optimize JIRA configurations to meet business and technical requirements.
- Integrate JIRA with Git Lab, Confluence, and other Dev Ops tools.
- Support Agile methodologies and related project management practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to JIRA administration.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and project teams to improve processes and system functionality.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field orfive (5) years of equivalent experience in JIRA administration.
- 3+ years of experience administering Jira.
- 5+ years of experience working in Scrum and/or Agile environments
- Experience with enterprise-level Jira implementations and integrations
- Demonstrated experience configuring and managing JIRA workflows.
- Experience managing issue tracking systems and workflow automation.
- Proficiency in JIRA administration, including workflow development and permission management.
- Experience integrating JIRA with Git Lab, Confluence, or other Dev Ops tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, dashboard customization, and service-level agreement (SLA) monitoring is required.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Hold and active DOD Secret Clearance.
- This is a hybrid position; candidates must be located within the DMV area (DC, Maryland, or Virginia) and be available for in-person meetings as required.
- Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator certification.
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
