Job Title: Cyber Resilience Business Analyst

Location: Washington, DC (On-site)

Employment Type: Contract (W2 through Zip Staff — No C2C or 1099)

Zip Staff is seeking a Cyber Resilience Business Analyst for a major passenger-rail and transportation organization in Washington, DC.

You will sit between business analysis and enterprise resilience: continuity, disaster recovery, cyber-recovery coordination, and operational readiness. This is not a generic Agile BA seat.

• Support cyber resiliency planning, business continuity, and cyber-recovery coordination.
• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and traceability.
• Map processes, workflows, sequence diagrams, and activity models; flag vulnerabilities.
• Write test cases and manage UAT for readiness and resilience solutions.
• Coordinate tabletop exercises, resilience tests, and DR assessments.
• Define resilience metrics and KPIs; report to executives; support policy and control compliance.
• Facilitate workshops, change adoption, user docs, and training.

• 4+ years as a Business Analyst on enterprise IT, business continuity, or cyber resilience.
• Formal BA methods;
  Visio (or equivalent) process mapping.
• Requirements tools such as Jira or HP Quality Center.
• Strong workshop facilitation and executive-ready communication.
• Ability to drive deliverables independently.
• Ability to work on-site in Washington, DC.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

• CBAP, CBCP, or CRISC.
• Travel, airline, or large-enterprise operations.
• Exposure to SAP, Ariba, POS, kiosk, mobile, or distributed systems.
• Bachelor’s in Business, IS, Cybersecurity, or related.
