Supervisory IT Specialist; INFOSEC)

This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Science & Technology Directorate, Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency.

The primary purpose of this position is to develop and deliver effective and sustainable technologies, systems, and capabilities to support homeland security missions and enhance DHS operational effectiveness.

Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.

INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT

This position has an Individual Occupational Requirement that must be met prior to meeting the specialized experience. Applicants must possess IT-related experience demonstrating each of the nine (9) competencies listed below:

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) in Federal service or equivalent private/public sector experience.

For this position, specialized experience is defined as:

• Leading a major cyber program area with major impact.
• Directing complex programs involving research, development, testing, evaluation, transition, and deployment of technologies and systems that support customer needs.
• Working closely with stakeholders to align cybersecurity, data, technology, and program management activities with Departmental priorities and mission requirements.
