The Security Innovation & Integration Team is responsible for responsible for owning the functional roadmap and day-to-day operational stewardship of Northrop Grumman’s enterprise security integrations across ESSS (PCS, ESCC, GAC). This Security Innovation & Integrations Analyst (Level 2 or
3) role translates Industrial Security requirements into actionable work for technical teams, designs and validates integrations between other enterprise systems, and drives innovation and continuous improvement across technical security capabilities. The position partners closely with Industrial Security stakeholders, Cybersecurity, IT/development teams, and external vendors to ensure configurations, workflows, and data flows enable efficient, data-driven security operations.
This position is located in Irving, TX, but open to a fully remote schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for functional roadmap for the enterprise security integrations aligned to business, mission, and compliance priorities.
- Serve as a point of contact for sector and enterprise security stakeholders on Enterprise Security capabilities, issues, and enhancements.
- Coordinate with Industrial Security and Cybersecurity to ensure ESSS processes and configurations support current regulatory and customer requirements.
- Maintain and groom the backlog of enhancements, integrations, and defect remediation in partnership with the development with the tech team.
- Monitor data integrity and compliance; identify and drive corrective actions to resolve discrepancies and systemic issues.
- Manage intake process for system enhancements, including review, scoping, and prioritization
- Plan and prioritize work for the team, including ticket triage, configuration changes, and improvement initiatives.
- Support testing, validation, and implementation of ESIS/SIMS upgrades, patches, and new functionality.
- Provide metrics and reporting on ESIS usage, performance, backlog, and issue trends to leadership.
- Partner with IT, HR, and Security Shared Services as needed to resolve complex issues and implement cross‑functional changes.
Basic Qualifications for Level 2
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant experience.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR Associate's degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 9 years of relevant experience.
Additional Basic Qualifications (Both Levels)
- Candidates must have a current U.S. Government Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered.
- Experience supporting or using enterprise security information systems (e.g., ESIS, SIMS, JPAS/DISS, NBIS, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, projects, or work streams (formal or informal leadership).
- Strong understanding of industrial security fundamentals and related regulations (e.g., 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and applicable customer directives).
- Proven ability to interpret requirements, translate them into system/process changes, and drive implementation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with security professionals, IT, and business leadership.
