Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Customer Success Specialist to join an established organization within the networking and technology services industry for a remote 3-month contract position (with extensions). The Technical Customer Success Specialist will partner with customers during implementation, activation, and platform adoption efforts while serving as a technical resource throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
Responsibilities of the Technical Customer Success Specialist include:- Lead customer onboarding and activation sessions, partnering with customer IT teams to deploy and configure platform integrations.
- Assist with implementation of virtual machine-based collectors, connectors, and telemetry solutions within customer network environments.
- Guide customers through technical requirements involving IP addressing, DNS, firewall rules, access credentials, and network connectivity.
- Support cloud-to-cloud API integrations, contract onboarding, platform migrations, and adoption initiatives while ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Troubleshoot onboarding challenges, coordinate issue resolution, and collaborate with internal teams when escalation is required.
- 2+ years of experience in networking, technical support, implementation, onboarding, customer success, or a related technology-focused role.
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, firewall policies, SSH, SNMP, and virtual machine deployment.
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as CVEs, CVSS scoring, software hardening practices, and end-of-support/end-of-life device considerations.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to customers and conducting demos, training sessions, or implementation meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Salary Range: $28-$35/hr (USD)
