About the role

Analytics are central to our success. Analytics are at the heart of how we make decisions as a company. We’re building the first full stack, automated retirement management platform in the industry – and data tells us how to optimize. We are a fast growing company, and it’s time to build an enterprise grade data stack. You will be responsible for using data to identify process vulnerabilities and general optimization opportunities.

The ability to take large data sets and transform them into actionable business recommendations will be paramount to success in this role.

What you get to do every day

• Build and maintain data sets, models and visualizations
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Hex, Salesforce and Google Sheet.
• Support and improve Salesforce processes and flows to streamline business operations
• Work with business partners to identify key metrics, how to improve them, and establish perpetual tracking methods
• Work with engineers and product managers to set data tracking requirements
• Provide guidance, reports, and dashboards to successfully track and move these metrics
• Proactively present insights to help our customers and business based on a deep understanding of operations
• Deep dives on a wide range of processes in order to identify the biggest opportunities for optimization
• Be creative and explore data for impactful business insights

What you bring to the role

• Minimum 5+ years of experience working in analytics or data science
• Ability to present stakeholders with clear, accurate, and impactful recommendations based on data
• Expertise with developing and maintaining compelling data visualizations
• Ability to connect the dots between data and business impact
• Experience building dashboards and reports in Hex, including using Hex’s AI capabilities
• Experience building dashboards and reports in Salesforce
• Experience building dashboards and reports in Gsheet or Excel.
• Experience with Salesforce process and flow development
• Proactive and professional communication in all settings
• Comfortable working with and combining data across many different data sources
• Passion for learning and growing analytical and process improvement skillset
• Flexibility in being able to quickly pivot between tasks when necessary
• Experience with database design and administration a plus
• Experience with SQL a plus
• Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodology a plus
