Your practitioner knowledge - the kind earned through real audits, policy reviews and control assessments - is exactly what's needed to make AI smarter and more reliable in this domain.
This isn't a typical compliance role. It's a chance to directly shape how frontier AI systems understand and reason about governance and risk.

- Apply your real-world GRC experience to judge nuanced, scenario-based questions
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance or risk management
- Familiar with one or more major frameworks - SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS or similar
- Comfortable reading and interpreting security policies, audit reports and control documentation
- Detail-oriented with precise structured written reasoning
- Self-motivated and able to work independently on asynchronous tasks
- Experience with data annotation, data labeling or AI evaluation workflows
- Background in information security, IT audit or third-party risk management
- Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP or CISM
- Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top research labs

- Freelance perks: autonomy, variety and global collaboration
