About the Opportunity

JLGOV LLC is seeking a Trial Courtroom Presentation Specialist/ Courtroom Technology professional to support the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division in Washington, DC. This is an opportunity to work directly with attorneys, expert witnesses, and litigation teams throughout pre-trial preparation and live proceedings. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where technology, visual communication, and attention to detail play an important role in trial success.

The role combines courtroom presentation technology, litigation support, visual communications, multimedia production, and real-time technical support, this assignment supports a DOJ litigation program. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in high-pressure environments, presenting evidence and multimedia materials in real time, troubleshooting technology, and collaborating closely with attorneys and litigation teams. Candidates with litigation paralegal or legal backgrounds may also be considered if they have strong hands-on courtroom presentation and litigation technology experience.

What

You'll Do
  • Prepare, organize, and present electronic evidence, exhibits, documents, graphics, video, and other multimedia materials.
  • Provide courtroom presentation and live “hot seat” support during trials and other proceedings.
  • Use OnCue and Sanction to manage and present evidence and trial materials.
  • Support litigation teams with trial presentation strategy, visual communication, and multimedia development.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations, demonstratives, infographics, graphics, video, and other trial visuals.
  • Assist with courtroom and war-room technology, including displays, presentation systems, computers, tablets, and related equipment.
  • Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot courtroom presentation equipment and software.
  • Work with litigation databases, imaging systems, trial presentation platforms, and mobile devices.
  • Support pre-trial preparation, including testing presentations, exhibits, equipment, and courtroom technology.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, expert witnesses, technical teams, and other members of the litigation team.
  • Travel as required and support extended trial schedules, including occasional evenings and weekends.
What You Bring
  • A 10 trial experiences.
  • Hands-on experience with OnCue and Sanction.
  • Experience with litigation support applications such as Relativity, Case Map, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience creating or designing mockups for web-based platforms.
  • Strong experience with PowerPoint and Adobe tools.
  • Experience creating graphics, demonstratives, presentations, or multimedia materials.
  • Experience supporting mobile devices, tablets, and/or iPads.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technology and remain effective in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
  • Strong communication, organization, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work extended hours during active trials.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Digital Design, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Justice Public Trust.
