This isn’t your typical SEO role where you’re chasing vanity metrics. You’ll publish 7-14 SEO-optimized blog posts weekly, maintain the AI-powered automation workflows that make it possible, and drive real business results through strategic keyword targeting and conversion optimization. We need an SEO specialist who understands both traditional search and AI-powered search engines – someone who can optimize for Google, ChatGPT, and Perplexity with equal skill.

You’ll work with AI-generated content, refine it for accuracy and brand voice, then publish it to Word Press with flawless technical SEO implementation. • Conduct keyword research to identify high-value topics that attract our ideal safety professional audience
• Develop content topics and editorial calendars that align with SEO strategy and business goals
• Stay current on SEO best practices and AI search optimization (including optimization for AI-powered search engines and LLMs)
• Monitor and analyze content performance using Google Analytics and Search Console, adjusting strategy based on data

Technical SEO

• Implement and maintain schema markup to enhance search visibility
• Optimize site speed and Core Web Vitals for better user experience and search rankings
• Manage technical SEO elements including XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and redirect management

AI Content Management

• Maintain and optimize AI prompts and process automations for content generation
• Review AI-generated blog posts for accuracy, brand voice, and SEO optimization
• Edit and refine content to ensure it meets quality standards and resonates with our audience
• Ensure all content aligns with The Safety Geek’s brand voice and expertise

Content Production & Publishing

• Publish 1-2 blog posts daily to Word Press with flawless SEO implementation
• Create featured images in Canva using AI-generated prompts and pre-built templates (no advanced design skills needed)
• Implement conversion elements including lead magnet links, newsletter opt-ins, and strategic internal linking to resources and other blog posts
• Publish podcast blog posts (including transcripts) in coordination with the Executive Operations Coordinator
• Format content for optimal readability, user experience, and search performance
• Add proper SEO elements including meta descriptions, alt text, internal linking, and schema markup
• Maintain content calendar and publishing schedule with zero missed deadlines

Process Improvement

• Continuously refine and improve content production workflows
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks in the content pipeline
• Document processes and maintain SOPs for content operations
• Proactively suggest improvements to content strategy based on performance data
