PENDING CONTRACT AWARD
Mission Objectives: Execute the full RMF lifecycle for high-priority Tier 1 systems while serving as the designated backup to the Lead Senior ISSO.
Position Responsibility
Summary:
Manage a named portfolio of Tier 1 systems (FedRAMP shared-responsibility environments, high vulnerability velocity) and act with full authority to perform Lead ISSO duties during any absences, attending governance and QA functions as needed.
- Responsibility 1: Serve as the formally designated Alternate Lead Senior ISSO, assuming full Lead duties and governance representation during absences.
- Responsibility 2: Own a portfolio of Tier 1 systems, executing the full RMF lifecycle cradle-to-grave and leading RMF packages through their Authority to Operate (ATO).
- Responsibility 3: Manage system vulnerability triage, Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) lifecycle tracking, and continuous monitoring/log verification.
- Responsibility 4: Provide QA reviews and deliverable oversight for Intermediate ISSOs, leveraging tools such as CSAM, Splunk, Service Now, and Tenable/Qualys.

- Experience: 8+ years of federal/DoD cybersecurity experience, including 5+ years performing ISSO or cybersecurity operations duties. Demonstrated experience leading RMF packages through ATO, running continuous monitoring, and verifying system logs.
- Education and Credentials: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent);
Must hold at least one of the following: CISSP, CISM, or CASP.

Extensive experience with CSAM, Splunk, Service Now, and vulnerability scanning platforms. - Optional/Value-added Additional Credentials: Additional PMP certification or specialized FedRAMP training.

DFC Headquarters (1100 New York Avenue NW, Washington, DC) / Remote
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite 2 days per week, remote otherwise)
Work Hours: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
