Deputy Program Manager Job Washington area,District of Columbia USA,IT/Tech

Imagineeer is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to coordinate pilot readiness and execution on an acquisition transformation engagement for a federal civilian department. You will keep the many moving parts of a parallel two-tool pilot aligned, from vendor demonstrations to integration working sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate pilot readiness and execution activities across technical, security, training, and change teams.
Plan and run vendor capability demonstration logistics.
Schedule and facilitate integration working sessions.
Maintain the deliverables tracker and support status reporting.
Back up the Program Manager on schedule, risk, and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications and Skills:

6 or more years of IT project management or coordination experience, including federal projects.
Experience coordinating vendors, demonstrations, or technology pilots.
Strong scheduling, tracking, and meeting facilitation skills.
Ability to pass the client's contractor security vetting and obtain and maintain a PIV credential.

Desired Skills and

Competencies:

PMP or CAPM certification.
Experience on acquisition or enterprise system modernization programs.
