Automation Engineer
The Opportunity:As the Automation Engineer for our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team, you will be a key member and primary administrator of our UiPath environment and part of an exciting and dynamic team delivering mission solutions to our clients. As part of this role, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and ongoing operational maintenance of the UiPath platform, including automation suite, orchestrator, bot development and deployment, and high availability patching and add-ons, hosted on AWS infrastructure.
You will bridge the gap between traditional IT infrastructure and specialized RPA needs to ensure the environment is resilient and scalable.
- Manage the installation, patching, and version upgrades of Power Automate flows in a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) IT environment.
- Monitor system health and performance and implement auto-scaling for flows to meet varying business workloads.
- Manage backups, high availability configurations, and recovery procedures to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with developers and our clients to fully understand client requirements and troubleshoot production issues related to infrastructure, connectivity, or environment configurations.

You Have:- 7+ years of experience in IT consulting, systems implementation, or transformation
- 3+ years of experience with Power Platform components such as Power Automate and Power Apps
- Public Trust
- Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or Business
- Experience with CBP
- Experience working for federal clients
- Possession of excellent communication skills
- Microsoft Power Platform Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
