Outreach Support Specialist
The Outreach Support Specialist will provide the Bureau of Global Acquisitions (GA) Front Office with dedicated communications support. This individual will work closely with and assist the Senior Outreach and Engagement Advisor in carrying out the GA Front Office's external and internal communications' priorities on behalf of the Chief Acquisition Officer.
Tuvli, an Akima company, is hiring for an Outreach Support Specialist to support our DoS client located in Washington, DC.
ResponsibilitiesResearches, develops, plans, designs, and maintains policies and materials for the purpose of conveying messages.
Writes, edits, reviews, and oversees release of internal communication documentation, such as the intranet, newsletters, emails/memos, webcasts, presentations, and speeches.
Works with marketing/external communications team to plan internal and external corporate events.
Develops, improvement and/or implementation of new and existing communication avenues.
Requires moderate skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline.
Conducts tasks and assignments as directed.
Performs work under general supervision.
Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Typically requires BA and 2-4 years.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or similar field.
3-5 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in Salesforce and in Canva for graphic design.
Strong writing skills to support speech writing, newsletters, and web content.
Experience assisting with organizational social media management (preferably Linked In).
Familiarity with basic engagement analytics and reporting.
Ability to work collaboratively and responsively to support the Advisor's day-to-day communications needs.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
