- Schedule and complete premium audits with policyholder contacts to determine accurate final premiums for adjustable lines of insurance
- Prepare detailed reports of audit findings to assist underwriting with risk assessment and discussions on insurance fraud
- Ensure audits are completed in accordance with departmental production, quality, and timeliness standards
- Serve as a technical resource to internal and external stakeholders, including agents and policyholders
- Review and resolve audit disputes while communicating resolutions among stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, insurance, or related business field or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong math and accounting aptitude with attention to detail
- Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry and applicable Workers’ Compensation regulations preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively under minimal supervision
- Familiarity with auditing processes and record-keeping procedures
- Experience in analyzing, researching, and resolving audit issues
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle report per company standards
