What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Schedule and complete premium audits with policyholder contacts to determine accurate final premiums for adjustable lines of insurance
  • Prepare detailed reports of audit findings to assist underwriting with risk assessment and discussions on insurance fraud
  • Ensure audits are completed in accordance with departmental production, quality, and timeliness standards
  • Serve as a technical resource to internal and external stakeholders, including agents and policyholders
  • Review and resolve audit disputes while communicating resolutions among stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, insurance, or related business field or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong math and accounting aptitude with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry and applicable Workers’ Compensation regulations preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively under minimal supervision
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Familiarity with auditing processes and record-keeping procedures
  • Experience in analyzing, researching, and resolving audit issues
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle report per company standards
