A prestigious AmLaw firm with a Washington, DC office is seeking an experienced Tax Attorney to join its Real Estate and Affordable Housing Practice Group
. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated, mission-driven transactions within a nationally recognized affordable housing platform.

• 5+ years of tax law experience at a law firm
• Demonstrated experience with partnership tax matters
• Experience advising exempt organizations and nonprofit entities
  , including work involving public-private partnerships in housing and urban renewal projects
• Exposure to Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC/Section 42) required; experience with Historic Tax Credits and New Markets Tax Credits is a plus
• Strong academic credentials
• An LL.M. in Taxation is preferred
• A degree in accounting or finance is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Licensed to practice in DC or eligible for waiver/admission
