About the Opportunity

A global Am Law firm is seeking a 2-6 year Real Estate Associate to join its Washington, DC office.

This opportunity offers exposure to elite, headline-level development work - including large-scale urban redevelopments and billion-dollar mixed-use projects - within a truly international platform. Associates will gain meaningful responsibility on sophisticated transactions while benefiting from a collaborative and globally integrated team.

The DC real estate team advises developers, institutional investors, lenders, and corporate clients on complex commercial real estate matters across asset classes.

• Large-scale development and redevelopment projects
• Mixed-use, hospitality, office, and multifamily transactions
• Acquisitions and dispositions
• Joint ventures and equity structuring
• Real estate finance (borrower and lender side)
• Leasing and asset-level operational matters

The team regularly collaborates across offices and practice groups, particularly in financial institutions, life sciences, energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors - reflecting the firm’s strong DC hub and sector integration.

The firm operates on a global scale with thousands of lawyers across 30+ international offices, offering substantial cross-border capability and deal exposure.

• 2-6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience
• Experience in acquisitions, development, joint ventures, and/or real estate finance
• Admission to the DC Bar (or ability to obtain promptly)
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
• Sound judgment and collaborative approach
