Lateral Link is assisting a repeat client and reputable Am Law
50 firm with a new unposted search for a Government Contracts Associate or Counsel to join the team.

This renown Government Contracts practice seeks an associate with experience providing advice and counseling on FAR, DFARS, and other agency procurement and financial assistance regulations.

A background in due diligence in connection with M&A and Investment Funds transactions is a plus. Experience with internal investigations, the False Claims Act and/or an interest in national security would also be helpful, as would experience with federal grants.

Stellar academic credentials and comparable law firm experience required.

The group is more interested in an associate with transactional skills than litigation skills. They do not do a lot of litigation work or bid protests.

This is an opportunity to join a government contracts group that does a lot of cross-practice work with the Corporate, Funds, and Trade groups. The work is really varied and interesting, composed of a tight knit dedicated team.
