Real Estate Paralegal

We have an immediate need for a Real Estate/Finance Paralegal at a leading law firm. This is a full time direct hire opportunity that offers an excellent salary and benefits package. This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

• Preparing documentation for closings, including organizing, proofreading and assembling documents for transactions involving multiple properties and maintaining large deal files.
• Drafting loan and assignment documents; assist with drafting of loan servicing memoranda.
• Reviewing organizational charts and documents.
• Coordinating with title companies and reviewing title, survey and zoning documents.
• Coordinating closing and post-closing logistics including closing binders.
• Managing online SharePoint sites. Researching industry databases, publicly available information from local governments and other sources, and applicable law.

• 3+ years prior experience as a paralegal in real estate finance or transactional finance.
• Experience with multi-family, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, CMBS and secured lending transactions involving all real estate commercial asset classes is highly preferable.
• Experience with title and survey review is necessary.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a strong cohesive team.
• Intermediate level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel) and document management systems.
