Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Litigation Associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide insights on complex legal issues.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Stay updated on legal developments and contribute to firm initiatives.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in D.C., Maryland, or Virginia.
- 3+ years of experience in litigation.
- Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a client-focused mindset.
