Attorney

Recruiting for an excellent boutique firm in need of two M&A attorneys based in DC, Maryland, Virginia or Florida. Can be fully remote BUT hire should reside in DC, Maryland, Virginia, or Florida.

One role is Partnership level and the other role is Associate/Counsel level. 1800 billable hours. For Partner level, comp all in is between $400k-500k. For Associate/Counsel, comp all in will be between $200k-$300k.

Requirements:

5 plus years of experience

Deep M&A experience

General Corporate and Business transactions experience

Can be fully remote but hire should live in DC, MD, VA or FL

No business required but business is always welcome

Most of their attorneys are former Big Law attorneys. They cover a wide array of industries including healthcare, technology/software and IT, health and fitness, government contracting, and life sciences, among many others, throughout the DMV, the United States, as well as Internationally.

About the role:

Hire will draft and negotiate a wide variety of legal documents from organizational documents (such as partnership and LLC operating agreements to other governing corporate documents); from employment, independent contractor, and other services agreements, joint venture agreements, licenses and IP development agreements, loan documents, and purchase and sale agreements and M&A due diligence. Any experience managing other attorneys is a plus.

Salary and Hours:

Excellent work/life balance compared to Big Law. 1800 hours requirement.

For Partner level, comp all in is between $400k-$500k.

For Associate/Counsel, comp all in will be between $200k-$300k.
