Senior Counsel – Fund Services (8+ Years)

An elite, multi-office law platform is seeking a seasoned Senior Counsel to take a leading role within its sophisticated Fund Services practice. This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact position advising premier venture capital, growth equity, and institutional investors across the full fund lifecycle. The role can be based out of:
New York NY, D.C or Boston.

• Lead fund formation engagements for venture, growth, and other private investment vehicles
• Advise sponsors on the Securities Act, Exchange Act, Investment Company Act, and Investment Advisers Act
• Counsel investors on all aspects of their investment programs, including diligence, governance, and regulatory considerations
• Serve as a key strategic partner to clients navigating the full arc of the fund lifecycle
• Contribute to mentoring, knowledge development, and continued expansion of a thriving national practice

• 8+ years of experience in fund formation with meaningful sponsor-side and investor-side work
• Deep fluency in federal securities laws applicable to private funds
• Experience from a leading national or international law firm
• Exceptional academic background and superior communication skills
• A proactive, business-minded attorney who thrives in a client-first, team-oriented environment

This role offers a highly competitive $435,000 base salary
, with the opportunity for discretionary merit-based bonuses.
